FUNKTION PARK @theDrakeHotel

The walls will disappear behind imagery of parks and playgrounds freshly composed by the Funktion crew, transforming room 222 into the outdoor scene of our youth. The sounds and vibe of the park will be recreated by Funktion’s own Emcee Rae, who will be spinning via boombox amidst the trees. Old school hip-hop, soul, funk, nearby traffic, birds, bees, squirrels and a little bit of everything else will emanate from the ghettoblaster and fill the fresh night air. Park patrons can even take home a little park piece of their own. So on the night of the 8th, we’ll all meet by the benches in “Funktion Park” when Room 222 becomes the great outdoors, because soon it’ll be too cold outside.
