A couple of weeks ago Ewa and Karen were invited by the Christie Ossington Community Centre’s, outreach worker and mentor artist, Javid Alibhai to give a presentation to youths attending their Biz Academy program. Biz Academy is a hands on training program in entrepreneurial skills development for high-school youths wanting to learn how to set up and run a community business.

The theme of the presentation was about how Freedom Clothing Collective uses Social Media as a tool for engagement, feedback, networking and marketing.

“This year’s BizAcademy was a huge success, thanx again to all the youth that graduated from the program, and to Salesforce.com Foundation and Pramilla Ramdahani for their amazing contributions to the program.”
