Freedom Clothing Collective (FCC) is a fashion and design collective located on Bloor near Ossignton, in Toronto. FCC supports local artists and designers, and more spefically those that work with ecologically friendly materials and refurbished-reclaimed-redesigned clothes. The Freedom crew relishes in finding designs and antiques with unqiue stories which help in creating a fun and inviting environment to shop and to enjoy.
FCC is volunteer run collective, currently 5 members strong with a great variety of collaborators (interns, photographers, Vj`s …etc). FCC participates in all kinds of things like: artshows, gardening, craft sales, music showcases and various other events. We are always open to innovative ideas and new collaborations.
What do we do? FCC we provide emerging artists and designers a place to showcase their designs and get them out to the public.
Where do we want to go? Our future vision of FCC includes spreading our roots and branching out to more community groups in and around Toronto and finding new innovative projects. We want to continue to create a space that supports local designers and also offer that space to our neighbourhood to utilize to help strengthen the local community.
Freedom Clothing Collective is a scavenger hunt. It is a treasure chest filled to the brim with lost objects that are looking to be found, as well as shiny new items that sparkle and glimmer as you walk in the door.
Love us we were made in your neighbourhood
